Privacy Policy

Chandni Kahaniyan (KahaniVan) is made for young children, so we kept data collection as small as it could possibly be. Here is all of it, plainly.

What we collect

• Nothing. Kahanivan has no accounts and no sign-in — not in the app, not on this website. There is nothing to register for and nothing to log in to. Every story is readable straight away.
• Favourites, reading progress and reading preferences are kept on your own device — inside the app on your phone or tablet, and in your browser's localStorage on this website. None of it ever reaches us.
• We never ask for your name, your email address, or anything else about you.

What we do not collect

• Nothing from children. We never ask for a child's name, age, photo, voice or location — and there is no account in which such a thing could be recorded.
• No advertising, no ad networks, no third-party analytics or tracking, no tracking cookies. No data is sold or shared with anyone.
• No location, no contacts, no camera, no microphone. The app declares no device permissions at all — it never asks you for one, because there is nothing it needs.

Where it lives

In our own Supabase project hosted in Mumbai, India (ap-south-1). Story text and artwork are served from there.

Your rights and deletion

There is nothing for us to delete, because nothing ever reaches us. To clear what is held on your own device, delete the app, or clear site data for kahanivan.com in your browser.
